Hi, I have just installed Koha 3.2.10. How can a Student log into the Koha to search the books, see his status ? Firstly, is it possible for a student to login into Koha ? Please help me in this. The installation will have created a public catalogue (Opac) separate to the staff client. In the staff client, create the student as a patron and assign a user name and password. The student uses those to log in to the Opac. H On Aug 27, 2011 6:57 AM, "toreachdeepak" <toreachdeepak1@gmail.com> wrote:

You have to enable patron logins in System preferences > Opac. -- Mahesh T. Pai || He is wise who knows the sources of knowledge -- who knows who has written and where it is to be found. --A.A. Hodge

You have to enable patron logins in System preferences > Opac.
You shouldn't have to do anything in systempreferences. Just set up a borrower with a user name and password and they can login to check their status. They don't need to login to search, unless you change OpacPublic preference. Chris
