Error @ login time on the Koha front end (OPAC)
Hi everybody on the list, I am struggling since a few days now with an error that pops up at login time on the frontend (OPAC): Software error: Date::Calc::Add_Delta_Days(): not a valid date at /usr/share/koha/opac/cgi-bin/opac/opac-user.pl line 124. For help, please send mail to the webmaster (s.barale@erentil.net <mailto:s.barale@erentil.net>), giving this error message and the time and date of the error. Just so you know both those versions are unreleased versions, it looks like you are running from the squeeze-dev repo. (one is from february, the other is from march, you would be much better off running from the squeeze repo) However your error is occuring because the user you are logging in with does not have a valid expiry date and/or birthdate set on their record. Chris
Hi Chris! Thanks a million for the hint! Actually I had found mention of this on an IRC chat log (after writing here), and the record of the user actually DIDN'T have an expiry date, but when I set it nothing changes. I get the same error. Even after restarting koha AND Apache :P Any hint? Best, Steph On 12/09/2012 22:06, Chris Cormack wrote:

wow! thats quite a sig-block you have there...
Hi everybody on the list, I'm trying to configure koha for a consortium of libraries (with different levels) so that work independently using library groups. I use IndependentBranches option. I think it's not possible to limit the editing of bibliographic records for libraries, but I need to create users that could edit and add items of a group of libraries. That is, a user can create and edit items for the library group (all of them) that is part of (as a "main library"), without being able to edit records of other libraries that are not part of their group . Is this possible? I would also like more information about the characteristics of organization e institution patron types. Thanks a lot. Oliver Martín
