I'd urge you to set the dates as soon as possible.  The earlier air travel can be booked, the better will be the fares available.

You've indicated that June is the likely month.  There is a conference in Canberra that we will be attending, from 23-25 June 2017.  If your dates could avoid those days and a couple either side, that will really help us.

I'm sure others around the world will have their preferences.  I wanted to get in early.  :)
