Batch item deletion using a file
We are using 3.0.6. In Tools - Batch Deletion of Items, I am unable to use a file of barcodes to delete item records. I have tried using txt, csv and Excel files, without success. If the bar codes are scanned a batch deletion is possible. Evelyn W. This sounds like it might be a known bug: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4451 To work around it you could try saving your barcodes file using a text editor which allows you to specify UNIX line endings. Notepad++ is a good free editor which you could try. Hopefully my patch for that bug will get approved and it will be fixed in the next version. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
