Migration / OPAC view problem
Hello, I've been successful in using MarcEdit to move data from LiBRARYSOFT to Koha-except for one kind of large problem that I hope will be something not too difficult to fix. When I look for the records in the OPAC, neither the branch location (we have five) nor the call number appears along the rest of the record. I'm wondering if I'm using the wrong MARC fields to indicate these? For call numbers, I've used 050$a and 050$b; for location, I've used 852$a. I'd appreciate any guidance on this. Thank you! When you migrated your data, did you put the call number and library in the Koha item holdings field - the 952? See https://sites.google.com/a/liblime.com/koha-manual/Home/Table-of-Content s/Cataloging/item-fields-data-migration For the subfield breakdowns. Call numbers should go in the 952 $o, and library information should go in the 952 $a (home) and $b (current location). Jane Wagner Library Systems Analyst PTFS Inc.
