Is there a way to set a global due date in Koha?

can we set the calendar for dates that we are not in session ie: holidays?

Not in 2.x. 3.0 has calendar management, although I don't think your global due date feature is available. That's a good idea, though--not something us public libraries would have thought of! My library has been coping with the lack of holidays management by nightly running a script that corrects due dates based on a hard-coded list of our holidays and closings. If there's a closing that will affect Koha's automatically-calculated due date, the script corrects the date in the database to fit our schedule. We just have to remember to set our date-due stampers to the correct date. The same could be done to create a global due date: During the day the system would report an incorrect date for new checkouts, but overnight the database could be updated with the fixed date.
