Re: [Koha] [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] integration of electronic content
Dear All, With regard to e-books, if catalogue the e-books as regular print books and use 956 tags and provide the url link of the exact location and file name of the book, users might be able to access the resources. But i will also be interested to understand how to do e-resources integration. E-resources like EBSCO, Lexis Nexis, ebribary, etc. Thanks and Regards R Sunil Kumar -----Original Message----- From: koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz [mailto:koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz] On Behalf Of koha-request@lists.katipo.co.nz Sent: 25 January 2012 02:32 To: koha@lists.katipo.co.nz Subject: Koha Digest, Vol 75, Issue 53 Send Koha mailing list submissions to koha@lists.katipo.co.nz To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to koha-request@lists.katipo.co.nz You can reach the person managing the list at koha-owner@lists.katipo.co.nz When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Koha digest..." Could anyone point me to a library catalog that does a great job integration e-content into their catalog? I am assuming this will mostly be e-books unless someone knows a library that has done a great job integrating databases as well (and could direct me to those libraries-this wouldn't be evident without an account but I'd still like to know if someone has done a good job of it so I can talk to them).
Define what you mean by "integration of e-content" please? ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Tue, 24 Jan 2012 04:16:48 -0800 From: Deepa Gajendra <Deepa.Gajendra@Indegene.com> To: "koha@lists.katipo.co.nz" <koha@lists.katipo.co.nz> Subject: Re: [Koha] Availability: No items available: Message-ID: <62C0B73762251D41BFEDF5B9DC07494E2565DD8B@emailla.medschool.local> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Hi, I am also facing the same problem in Koha.
