We don't have a printable version yet, we're working on finding the necessary scripts to generate that and hope to have it available with 3.2, Nicole On Fri, Jun 25, 2010 at 10:25 AM, <bariki.kamara@out.ac.tz> wrote:

2010/6/26 Lars J. Helbo <lars@helbo.org>:
Hi,
I am working on the Danish translation for Koha. I have been away from the work for quiet some time, but yestoday I started to update all the files. However, I have run into a serious problem with the terminology-file. It says that it is complete. But when I enter the file, a number of terms, which should contain the Danish special characters (æ. ø and å) instead contains very large amounts og "Â?Ã?Â?Ã?Â?" (hundreds of lines).
Yestoday I managed to correct a number of these terms, but after a while it seemed to make Pootle extremely slow, so I had to stop. Today as I came back, it was the same mess again - all my corrections were gone.
Somebody please help :-(
Hi Lars The terminology file isn't actually used by Koha so you can ignore that, i'll investigate it though, but it isn't actually used, just the opac, intranet and preferences ones. Chris

I solved it when I added a new default circulation rule setting 'Default' on the itemtype and 'Default' on the borrowertype... I didn't change my previous rules, just added the new one Hope that helps! -- Ing. J. Martin Longo Depto. Gestion Informatica SID - UNCuyo http://sid.uncu.edu.ar
You could also create a different Item type and then just setup a new circulation rule for them. You'd do this under Administration. First you create the new item type, then the circulation rule and then apply the new circulation rule to the new Item type. Hi,
we have now set up Koha 3.0 in our school library and we have started to enter the books - works very fine.
Now one of the teachers suggested that we should also register our school books in the system and I am trying to find out how to do that best. They are located in a different room and they are handed out on different terms (only to the pupils in one class and for one year instead of one month).
How do I handle that in the best way?
I suppose i should create a different "Permanent location" - but how can i do that? I also suppose i should create two different Media types (library books and school books) to handle the different terms of loan? -- Lars J. Helbo Borgergade 44 DK-8450 Hammel
