Effect of changing OPACFallBack Preference
Dear All, I am using Koha 17.11 version and have been using the Option "*Prog*" on *OPACFallBack Preference* in the System Preferences. However, I learnt about the "*bootstrap*" option and will like to change as its seems more responsive. Please, I like to know if all customizations I made on the "prog" option will be retained (*such as customization on the opacheader, opacmainuserblock, opacnav, opacbutton, opacright etc*), or I have to start customizing all over again. Thank you, as I anticipate your response. Kind regards, Mary-Ann
Hi Mary-Ann, what is your opacthemes system preference set to? 17.11 should not have the files for another OPAC template, but only bootstrap. It could be you are already using bootstrap or that you are using a custom template added to your installation. Everything that is stored in system preferences will not be changed. But if you were using one template and switched to another, a lot of the CSS and JavaScript used for customizing would probably have to be fixed, as the HTML structure of the pages could be quite different. Hope that helps, Katrin On 20.09.2018 16:40, Njideaka Tobechukwu wrote:

I think the default value for OPACFallback is "prog" even though that template no longer exists. The system preference 'opacthemes' is where you choose which OPAC template is used. There should be only one choice -- bootstrap. If that is correct, changing the OPACFallback preference shouldn't affect anything at all. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries https://www.myacpl.org
