Dear Friends: Today, I installed Koha on a computer running Windows XP at my school to be used as an evaluation platform for the rest of the school year. Since I followed the directions, the install went without a problem. I am having some difficulty in the parameter setup, however. I tried using the information at www.kohadocs.org, but I don't really understand the total ins and outs of MARC. When I ran the MARC Check, I had one (1) error. It was in the item fields test-I was told that all item fields must be mapped to the same tag and they must all be in the 10 (items) tab. I have very little experience in MARC and wonder if anyone out there has some suggestions I can try when I get into school. Thank you in advance for your time and effort. Hi all, I am thrilled to have my Koha installation up and running. I have announced the new OPAC to teachers today and some have already reserved items. It is working great. Here is the problem I am having. When I try to edit a Biblorecord, I get an error that Tab T is not filled in. I cannot find a tab T much less a place that it is required. The only Tabs that I am aware of are the numerical ones that we set in various areas. If anyone has some insight I sure would appreciate an email. Hi, Scott - The MARC check error you are getting is not related to MARC, it's an error in your Koha configuration. You need to do exactly what the error says: all of your "items" fields must point to subfields of one (and only one) MARC tag; and all of them must be set to display in the "10" (items) tab.
