Installation problem with PDF::API2
First off, if there is a more specific listserv to direct these questions to, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. Everything seemed to go pretty smooth for the prep on the fedora core 4 server except for the following: 1. When I tried to install the perl module PDF:API2 I received a module isnt available on CPAN message. Anybody know why? 2. I have turned off SELinux. Do I still need to do the chcon commands? if so, i am unsure exactly what i am suppose to include in the <context> and <subdirectory> chcon <context> /usr/local/koha/<subdirectory> any help would be appreciated, thanks! _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
Shawn, First of all install webmin from webmin.com it will allow you to install the perl modules easily under 'others'. In kernal configuration enter selinux=0 Gerry Romine wrote:

Shawn, I apologize for the abrupt message, I was just leaving my office when I saw your message. When installing redhat, if you cliock on advanced kernal configuration while installing the grub loader you will be given an option to type in kernal commands, this is where you add 'SELinux=0' this will tell the OS to not run SELinux each time the system boots. Concerning Webmin, it is an excellant application for configuring and working with linux or unix OS's. Incidently I am using Aurox 10.2, the Polish version of Redhat.
