Does anyone know why certain items will not show up in an inventory shelf list when the records are in the catalog ? *Ramona (Miller) Ratliff * Information Specialist *York University* Office: (402) 363-5708 | rjratliff@york.edu <email@york.edu> | *york.edu <http://www.york.edu/>*
Hi Ramona, the inventory tool can be used in multiple different ways. Maybe you can describe the steps you took, the expected results and what happened a bit more in detail? Katrin On 09.10.25 00:52, Ratliff, Ramona wrote:

Hi Katrin, I put in a range of call numbers for children's books, and it seemed to line up the numbers as if the first number line was a decimal rather than a whole number. I was doing a simple shelf list by entering the first and last call numbers for the range of our Juvenile books as follows: JUVE AG 5 .C56 1995 through JUVE Z 710 .H38 1998. We may have figured out the problem now, however. It may be that the JUVE prefix is throwing off Koha. For Library of Congress classification call numbers, you arrange the call numbers by reading the first number line as a whole number and then the lines following as decimal numbers. I tried a short range of numbers after removing the JUVE from the call number, and Koha lined the call numbers up correctly, so that is probably what is happening. Thanks, but I think we have it figured out now. *Ramona (Miller) Ratliff * Information Specialist *York University* Office: (402) 363-5708 | rjratliff@york.edu <email@york.edu> | *york.edu <http://www.york.edu/>* On Sat, Oct 11, 2025 at 10:29 AM Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer.83@web.de> wrote:
