Maybe you tried to connect to a USMARC server when your marcflavour is UNIMARC or the contrary ?

intranet-npl offers the two values: USMARC and UNIMARC and I choose USMARC. But that's wrong. I changed to intranet-default and there the possibilities are MARC21 and UNIMARC. So I changed the value to MARC21 and now there are search results. However the problems are not completly over :-(

Could you tell us more about your system preference and the z3950 server you are getting data from ?

I entered some near servers: aleph.unibas.ch, ilu.zhbluzern.ch both with the database IDS_UTF witch should give the results in Unicode. But when I download them the data appear in latin1 not in utf8. Using MarcEdit the resulting mrk-file is utf8. Any solution to this?
