Changing login from KOHA/KOHA to something else on XP Home Edition
KOHA Colleagues, I seem to have successfully downloaded all programs successfully for a trial of KOHA on a single XP Home Edition laptop. I can login (very briefly) under the KOHA userID and KOHA password. However, every time I try to change any parameters, it kicks me out to the login screen. What I am doing wrong? And how might I fix this problem -- especially being a newcomer to Apache, MySQL, & Perl? Could you be a little more specific on how you managed to get KOHA running? Wich version of Koha, Apache, MySQL
What I am doing wrong? And how might I fix this problem -- especially being a newcomer to Apache, MySQL, & Perl?
Could be a permission problem on the database side (MySQL). Cheers Beda
Hi Fran, What is your timeout set to? It's under Parameters --> System Preferences --> Admin in my installation. It could be set too low. Fran -- If you are using the username and password from your KOHA_CONF file, then you can't change either from the web (since it is hardcoded in the file). probabily it is due to MySQL version problem. I also encountered this issue when i was using MySQL - V5.0.37.
