RE: Koha Digest, Vol 8, Issue 10
Thanks, Deepack. That fix worked for me, but leaves me with the same thing as you...Nothing Found, but the z3950 log says otherwise... I've experienced identical symptoms to the ones you're describing and haven't found a solution yet. I suspect that the problem may lie with the CVS version of the client since Chris reported that a default 2.2.3 Z39.50 client was working with no config changes. So here's something to try: download Koha 2.2.3, grab the z39.50 client stuff and see if it runs with your CVS Koha version (you are running a CVS version of Koha right?). I haven't had a spare moment this week to give this a shot ... let me know if it works for you. Finally Joshua, Z3950 is giving results I think i was fighting the wrong problem. The problem seems to be that i skipped adding the "stopwords" option while installation. See http://lists.katipo.co.nz/pipermail/koha/2005/004255.html (which is your own posting !!) I'm not using a CVS checkout, but the tarball from sourceforge. And dear Steven, I've added only the NL database at amicus. So it works fine from the southern tip of India. :-) Thanks to all your tips. Deepak On 9/10/05, Joshua Ferraro <jmf@liblime.com> wrote:

Yesterday (2005-09-08) I did a fresh installation of Koha on a fresh GNU Debian, selecting English only. Trying to add a biblio item the input text fields are in French. That´s really strange and I thought I did a mistake and did the whole procedure from scratch but the add biblio page still turns up in French. What can I've done wrong???
Did you choose MARC21 or UNIMARC during install ? because MARC21 parameters are in english only, while UNIMARC parameters are in french only, whatever the preferred language. You can create your own UNIMARC parameters in any language, but nobody did UNIMARC in english yet ;-)
OK. That can explain it. I thought UNIMARC was more "international" supporting unicode (and ISO-8859-1) so I choosed that. Is there an easy way to switch to MARC21, or do I have to reinstall???
