Sunday, November 30, 2003 20:13 CST Anna, Talia, and other interested Koha-ites, In his query last week about printing new acq reports, David Bucknell had asked also about Koha having a 'link' for book cover/jacket image, as is sometimes available in other ILS. I replied, noting that I had asked a similar question of Paul earlier this year, in the context of having a link to a jpeg via an MARC21 856 tag, and that the upshot of the answer was 'no, not now, not high priority'. Having had time to check through my personal archive today, I have not found a reply to my original question about including a bookcover pic in the basic Koha display, which probably means that Paul was simply too busy at the time and the original question has remained unanswered as far as I know. If I find a reply hiding somewhere, I'll forward it to you. Anyway, for those who were interested, this was Paul's reply to the second attempt. Not for 2.0.0, but should be in 2.0.1 How to do it : * add mapping functions between websites & MARC parameters * in biblio view, when displaying a subfield => look if the subfield is mapped to websites.url. If it is => print <a>title</a> and not title. Less than 1 day for me. probably much more for someone else.
