ZOOM module in Mac OS X
Hi all! I'm a desktop support Mac specialist for my company (so forgive my library ignorance!), and I'm trying to help my librarians here set up a Koha system for the corporate library/archive. I'm using a Powermac G4 running OS 10.4.8, as my prototype box, but I'm running into a wall - Its telling my I need to install the ZOOM perl mod, to install the system. However, CPAN will not install this module on my Mac! I am getting an error that reads: Unable to call script: yaz-config I know that the Z3950 module doesn't work on OS X, and it looks like this is dependent on that module, but I was under the understanding that I could choose not to use this module, if I so pleased. Any thoughts? Thanks all! -- Jason Gignac Macintosh Specialist, ITRC Harcourt Assessment 19500 Bulverde Road San Antonio, TX 78259-3701 (210) 339-8528 Phone (210) 339-8536 Fax HarcourtAssessment.com

Unable to call script: yaz-config Have you installed the Yaz toolkit? It's available here:

http://indexdata.dk/yaz part of the installation is getting the dependencies configured. Hope that helps. be aware that Mac users donot have /usr/local/bin in path. :D You should then add it to your path. -- Henri-Damien LAURENT
