Access to Learning Award
Salvete! With so many international Libraries involved in the Koha Project, I felt as though it was a great idea to point out the Access to Learning Award sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since y'all are prolly doing other innovative community technology projects. It's an award, so it's for stuff that's compleat (or mostly done) ; no grant stress. XD However, there is a deadline, and that deadline is 30 September 2010. (If you're going to do summat cool this year, you'd apply next year when whatever it is you're doing is done. Got it? Good.) Also, US Libraries have cooties, so no soup for you. (Well, there's other soup, just not this soup.) For information on how to apply visit: http://www.gatesfoundation.org/atla/Pages/access-to-learning-award-how-to-ap... For a bit of background about the award itself visit: http://www.gatesfoundation.org/atla/Pages/access-to-learning-award-overview.... For technical questions, contact: atla@gatesfoundation.org Cheers, Brooke
