Thanks to everyone who made suggestions to improve the draft committee rules. I've updated the draft rules here: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=en:organisations:koha_project_organisation: hlt:rules The section on Membership of the committee has been significantly amended. There was a suggestion that the Head Librarian of HLT be a member of the committee. The revised draft leaves that question to the Trustees. In the new draft, rather than having elections from time to time, persons with major roles in the community now have committee membership ex-officio. These officers (release manager, release maintainer etc) are elected from time to time by the community. There's no point duplicating the election process (IMHO). The committee itself can appoint another member - perhaps a representative of a library system rather than a support company? Other changes mostly reflect the suggestions that were made.
