24.05.03 A blank record opens when editing an existing biblio
This is an odd behaviour, and only involves *some* records. If I open the existing record to edit it (basic editor), it opens a completely blank record. It only happens while editing individual records. Koha internal batch edits work as expected. It seems to only affect a group of records that were uploaded about 10 years ago. I'm planning to download and batch edit these in MarcEdit soon, and could presumably fix the problem if I knew what fields were the culprits. Any thoughts? Hi Elaine, There might be a non-printable character somewhere in a field. We have a similar problem with an imported batch where it shows garbled data when accessing the record. If we open the record and save it without any modification to it. the issue is solved... You might try to save that "blank record" to see if it is a similar issue. Another option would be to open the exported records in an editor that will show you non-printable characters and then delete them and re import the records. Hope this helps.
