Hi Margo, credits don't work quite as you would expect without bug 21896 that is not in 18.05: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21896 They won't get 'used up'. When we forgive a fine with a manual credit the credit doesn't show up on the Pay fines tab. The correct amount due shows up on the Checkouts page, but when we click on Make payment the full amount without the credit shows up as due. The credit does show up on the Account tab, but that page isn't generally checked when fines are being paid. Fines and payments seem otherwise to be working as expected.
