Has anyone tried using a barcode generating software to generate custom barcodes for koha? If any successful attempt was made I would like to know what software works and how do we interface it with koha. Hi Noel, What I wish we could do on Koha is use the ISBN barcodes on our books as the identifier. That would simplify everything, excepting the multiple copies and those books that lack barcodes entirely. I use glabels for custom barcode generation. It accepts a CSV file which I create as I catalog. I wrote a script [1] to do the copy cataloging and it can be configured to output a CSV file for each record.
