Hi all, Yesterday we had another Koha Project Day. Below is a summary of the goings on. We're thinking of moving the day of the week we do this on to give more folks the opportunity to get involved ... is there a day of the week that would work best for you and your koha project team? Let us know. Summary follows: We met some new folks, so extending a welcome to martinmorris, who's working on configuring Koha; and thanks to jaron for some support help on that front. Dewey was up to his usual tricks, and we fed him multitudinous botsnacks :-) Slef worked on improvements to the installation process, thanks for the commits! Tina and I picked up some books on interface design and started learning about typical processes for designing application interfaces (not just websites), with the intent to improve the 3.0 interfaces before the release. I also installed plone and played around with some workflows for managing users, groups, and roles. We discovered that, like Koha, plone is quite powerful, but requires plenty of customization :-) Chris spent most of the day fixing bugs in HEAD and commiting fixes to the CSS for Russ. Chris and I also spent some time refining our plan for moving to Git. Russ played around with plone, learned up on the plone help center product, moving some content into a plone install to see how it might work (see http://new.koha.org:8080/koha/author/rwgarlick for some of he content created. The Plone Help Center product looks like the goods for Koha documentation, but there are still some kinks to iron out before we have it going properly. Russ also did some testing of HEAD (version 3), in particular fixed a bug with the san-op.css which was obscuring the secondary navigation. Reported a few other bugs that Chris is working on. Ryan and Mason were super busy getting ready for a golive that happened this morning, so they opted out this time. I'm sure they'd rather be working on project stuff, just don't tell the clients :-). Sara spent some time updating lists of koha users found in the wild (they're everywhere! :-)). The best lists now are libwebcats and the Koha wiki, but we're working on a new worldmap that we hope will launch within the next coupla months.
