I'd like to be the first to congratulate and thank Galen for all his hard work bringing this release to fruition. And of course huge thanks to all the developers .. 73 different individuals I think .. who contributed to this release. Again huge thanks to libraries and librarians who drive Koha. Of course as translation manager I would be remiss in not thanking all those who provide translations.
Koha really is a team effort, and the proverb Galen used at the end of his release notes is very apt. By sharing the knowledge and effort, we create something wonderful.

Hey All, I just thought I'd let everyone know that I've compiled a new version of the offline circulation client. Not only does this version not crash when you try to search a borrowers.db file, but you can now select where the file is, and the client will remember between uses ( previously the file had to be in the application directory ). I have created a Windows setup file available for download here: http://millruntech.com/downloads/koha-offline-circulation/windows/19-koha-of...
If you are using an older version, please uninstall it first, as I have moved from a commercial setup creator to a FOSS setup creator ( inno setup ). I will be creating a .deb package as soon as I can.
Also, now that 3.2 is out, expect to see some new Koha Virtual Appliances soon.

Chris

Hear, hear!
Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't thank Chris for supplying the proverb. So, thanks!

Hey All, I just thought I'd let everyone know that I've compiled a new version of the offline circulation client. Not only does this version not crash when you try to search a borrowers.db file, but you can now select where the file is, and the client will remember between uses ( previously the file had to be in the application directory ). I have created a Windows setup file available for download here:
http://millruntech.com/downloads/koha-offline-circulation/windows/19-koha-of...
If you are using an older version, please uninstall it first, as I have moved from a commercial setup creator to a FOSS setup creator ( inno
setup
). I will be creating a .deb package as soon as I can.
Also, now that 3.2 is out, expect to see some new Koha Virtual Appliances soon.
