Extracting list of biblios with . in the subject
Hello, I would like to create a report for a list of bibliographic records that have a period in the 650 subfield a field. Example: a Topical term Fish tagging. Any ideas on how to do this? Hi, Tami-- Your example is a properly formed Library of Congress topical heading in a 650 field, which is supposed to end with a mark of punctuation or a closing parenthesis--and the ending mark of punctuation is usually a period/full stop. Are you trying to identify records with such properly formatted headings? Or records that lack the ending mark of punctuation? Or accomplish something else? Sorry if I've gone off on an Unnecessary Cataloger Tangent--just disregard me if I have!
