Request for support: Patron autocomplete hangs in Circulation
Dear Koha Community, we are currently facing an issue in Koha where the patron autocomplete in the Circulation module appears to hang indefinitely. The loading spinner keeps running, and no search result is returned. This seems to affect the patron lookup field on the circulation home page. We are currently checking whether it may be related to recent version changes or to our local configuration, but we would appreciate your guidance in case this issue is already known or if there are recommended troubleshooting steps. Common cause of these problems is having some 0000-00-00 in date fields of the borrowers table. You should start by looking at that these (there are 5-6 date columns borrowers I think). It usually is a data problem, and it pops now because Koha becomes more strict/sensitive to those at each version. But as Jonathan said, start by looking at the browser console, then you server logs. That'll give you a cue.
