Hi Koha Team, After installing Koha 3.20 on Ubuntu 14.04 and setting up libraries and items type and other necessary customization of modules, I did a mistake on Item type which I would like to delete one of the Item type. I found the mistake after doing a catalogue test to one of the item and I wanted to delete the item type but I could not. I got the message saying; cannot delete item type. The record is used 1 times. Deletion is not possible. Can someone help to advice simple way to delete the item type or has someone have similar issue before that advice. Yes, however there is one record that I did as a test catalogue which now I find it difficult to delete. This particular record was been catalogued using the wrong Item type. And this Item type I have to delete it also. This Item type was wrongly added at the start during the setting up my koha library which might bring confusion during cataloguing to other staff. Then delete the record, then the item type. How can I call up all the catalogue records and do a bulk deletion once? then I can delete the Item type soon after. Happy to hear any feedbacks. I was able to delete the Item type with one record in it. This one record using mysql biblionumber was deleted then at the terminal #sudo koha-rebuild-zebra --full -v (instancename).
