The library code is supposed to be a short code that for the system to identify the library, the Library Name field is where the entire library name should go.  For example I have "Nicole's Library" with a code of NIC.

I just want to know if it is possible to change the max-lenght of the branch/library names. The input field is now set to maxlenght=80. (The input field under the Library code.) Unfortunately it is sometimes too short to mention the full library name.

Can I change this default setting easily or must I change the database settings too ?
