A9 Search and gettin biblo information
HI, we are a small library 10,000 books and we have been using koha on windows for sometime. We dont have the money to buy into a z39.50 engine and have been using some of the free ones. If we moved to version 3.0 on unix would the A9 search engine option allow us to import data to koha. Basically we want the same option as you get on some of the cheap pc programs that connect to amazon, whilst respecting the amazon license. thanks -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/A9-Search-and-gettin-biblo-information-tp19185592p1918... Amazon is used by Koha for jacket images and enhanced content, not record data. Amazon enhanced OPAC content is also available in earlier versions of Koha, but A9 is not z39.50 and doesn't have any relation to Amazon enhanced content. I would still encourage you to check out 3.0, but not on Windows (there is still an outstanding XML bug), and not for any of the reasons you suggest. --joe atzberger On Wed, Aug 27, 2008 at 1:47 PM, ABM LIBRARY <amaranatho@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:
