Does anyone have a koha installation built that could be used as a Virtual Appliance? With all of the installation problems I see it sure would be nice if someone could build a default koha installation with a default domain and users that could be distributed as a package to run under VMware. I have one running in VMWare using Ubuntu 7.04 server - it was not easy to install, but was not terribly hard, either. I could not get CPAN to install the perl modules correctly, and found that apt-get was able to load the correct stuff. Use 'apt-cache search <module>' to find the modules. Life would be easier if KOHA was in PHP! Thanks - Mark Quoting Jim Kronebusch <jim@winonacotter.org>:

Or better yet, under some free software. What state is the live CD in at the moment? Hi Jim, I think this is a great idea!! Check out this site http://www.rpath.com/rbuilder/ which allows you to build a virtual appliance that will auto update etc.. this would be great for koha!! If we can get a team together we could create such an appliance, what do you think? Piet Jim Kronebusch wrote:
