More details: npl theme does not come with the graphics with v.2.2.6. it comes with a black and white template for both intranet and opac. The layout for opac looks very strange too. Does this only happen to window users? --------------------------------- Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com
Hi Carol, The NPL theme has had the layout and colors put into separate css files that you can specify in the admin interface. I think you're having the same issues as I was with 2.2.6RC2 when no layout and colors are specified. Read this http://lists.katipo.co.nz/public/koha/2006/010406.html as it may solve your problem. I do not see opaccolorsheet or opacstylesheet for opac in v.2.2.6. It seems to be missing from the system preference for windows. Do you have the opaclayoutsheet in your system preference? Do you need to add the value for color.css... or you can simply select from the opaclayoutsheet? For windows users, I do not have the opaclayoutsheet Mike Dalgity <dalgity@htl.net> wrote: Hi Carol, The NPL theme has had the layout and colors put into separate css files that you can specify in the admin interface. The NPL templates have changed a lot since the last major release. The idea is to separate the color styles from the layout styles to improve libraries' abilities to customize the interface without having to start from scratch. The fact that default values aren't filled in is a bug, and a bug report should be filed for it. The remedy is simple, though. Go into system preferences and click 'Add a System Preference'. These are the ones you need: For the opac: Explanation: Enter the name of the color stylesheet to use in the OPAC Variable: opaccolorstylesheet Value: opac-colors.css Explanation: Enter the name of the layout stylesheet to use in the OPAC Variable: opaclayoutstylesheet Value: opac-layout.css For the intranet: Explanation: Enter the name of the color stylesheet to use in Intranet Variable: intranetcolorstylesheet VAlue: colors.css If you interested in seeing what other stylesheets are available, check opac-tmpl/npl/en/includes and intranet-tmpl/npl/en/includes. You'll find other color and layout stylesheets that have been custom made for other libraries. -- Owen ---- Web Developer Nelsonville Public Library http://www.athenscounty.lib.oh.us
Thanks Owen. I got the graphics now... next question, when I access OPAC... I don't see the member log in section anymore. It used to be there for member to log in to their account at v.2.2.5. Can you shed light on this? Owen Leonard <oleonard@athenscounty.lib.oh.us> wrote: > Do you have the opaclayoutsheet in your system preference? Aha, you've stumbled on yet another bug, I'm afraid. You're missing another system preference. We added an 'opacuserlogin' preference for those libraries which want to disable member-based services like login and reserves. You'll need to add another system preference: Explanation: Enable or disable display of user login features Variable: opacuserlogin Value: 1 -- Owen ---- Web Developer Nelsonville Public Library http://www.athenscounty.lib.oh.us
