WHAT'S NEW With this version, comes the 1st part of the visible MARC stuff : * in the parameter screen of koha : you now have 2 links to manage MARC structure. This version is released with MARC21 english structure. French UNIMARC will come soon in CVS. Koha fields must be "mapped" to MARC fields in order to insure proper conversion of the DB. - The first tool is used to define MARC fields and subfield, the corresponding "tab" where the field is shown and the koha field mapping. - The second tools helps mapping, by presenting koha fields and their corresopnding MARC tag/subfield * in search of a biblio : if acquisitions=simple in systempref table, the biblios are shown in MARC format. INSTALLATION : installer.pl works fine for a fresh installation. Upgrading should work fine too. be sure to launch updater, fill_usmarc and updatedb2marc scripts. updatedb2marc migrates 30 biblios/seconds, so be patient if you plan to migrate a big DB ! KNOWN BUGS : * Acquisition system for "systempref.acquisition = simple" is still broken. will be corrected in 1.3.2. * Tabs are named 0xx to 9xx, but this is a "bug" : tabs should be named "0" to "9", as any MARC tag may appear in any tab, as defined in MARC tag structure parameter table.
