Hi, I just installed Koha from git, imported my sql tables into mysql, RE-INDEXED zebra, exported the correct path, running zebrasrv -f /path/to/koha-conf.xml, and none of the searches are working. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone please enlighten me? Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million. Sincerely, Scott Kushner Information Technologies Middletown Public Library
Scott, what do the zebra logs say? Thanks, Savitra Sirohi Nucsoft OSS Labs http://www.osslabs.biz 2010/3/18 Scott Kushner <skushner@mtpl.org>:

I made changes to System Preferences/Searching/Results Display (OPAC) and saved them successfully but they are not changing the behavior of the OPAC. Is there a step I'm missing? Stuart, I'm not positive, but you probably have to rebuild your Zebra index before these changes take place ... someone else may be able to speak with more authority. Nicole On Thu, Mar 18, 2010 at 1:41 PM, Stuart Spore <spores01@nyu.edu> wrote:

Stuart, I remember seeing this in a test database when all the records had the same acquisitions date! This is common for us here in India as we often migrate data where records don't have acquisitions date, Koha then populates the current date by default. I don't think you need to reindex zebra.
