Hi Hugo
We're trying to read manual' s koha 16.11, but it seems it is broken and we can't access it.
not: https://koha-community.org/documentation/ not: http://translate.koha-community.org/manual/master/en/pdf/Koha-16.11-koha-man... not: http://manual.koha-community.org/16.11/en/
If anybody have downloaded or it has a functional link, I will thanks if you are able to share it with me or fix the link.
Many links in https://koha-community.org/documentation/ are broken since the release of 16.11, I have filed the bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17675 on November 24, but nothing has happened since. To me it seems it has even gone worse again since I filed the bug. It is quite disturbing there is a brand new version but no documentation for it... (especially since the internal Koha help directly links to these manuals!!!). And most of the documentation for older versions has disappeared as well. On https://koha-community.org/documentation/ there are three links: * 16.11 Manual (English) --> Not found * [PDF] --> Not found * [Mirror] --> There you'll find at least the not so beautiful HTML version, but ALL the pictures are missing Hope this helps. Hi all As you will know I am the new documentation manager. For the next release 17.05. However I am attempting to get the 16.11 manual up as well. As you will know all these positions are voluntary and I have also been quite disturbed, by a 7.8 earthquake in NZ, which has damaged many buildings in Wellington. The last 3 weeks have been very busy and messy. (2 conferences, earthquakes (over 5000 aftershocks now) floods, 140kmph wind) If people could be patient I will get a 16.11 manual up soon. (Of course everything is in git and nothing is stopping people cloning the repository and generating one from the docbook xml.) I will update the bug and email the list when a 16.11 version is up on the site. Chris On 29 November 2016 1:55:18 AM NZDT, Michael Kuhn <mik@adminkuhn.ch> wrote:

I did say I'd be back :( I needed a few months to get up to speed at my new job, but just updated my repo to help with the manual again. If you don't need me let me know. Nicole On Mon, Nov 28, 2016 at 11:14 AM, Chris Cormack <chrisc@catalyst.net.nz> wrote:

Hi Nicole (And everyone) If people want to help, the manual is now in restructured text, which makes it a lot easier to edit. In the pdf, and one page html document the links are right, but in the multi html page document. The links are wrong. So they need to be fixed. (The good news is fixing them for it, doesn't break it for anywhere else). If you look at this patch http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=kohadocs.git;a=commitdiff;h=7372024c... You can see the change that needs to be made to fix the links -basic setup. Refer to the `Implementation Checklist <#implementation>`__ +basic setup. Refer to the :ref:`Implementation Checklist` The readme will tell you how to create the files to test with http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=kohadocs.git;a=blob;f=README.md;h=5d... So patches fixing links would be awesome. If you want you can also go to https://gitlab.com/koha-community-devs-users/kohadocs And sign in to gitlab, and edit the files there, there is even a preview mode so you can check they look ok EG if you go to https://gitlab.com/koha-community-devs-users/kohadocs/blob/master/en/source/... You can see what it looks like (without images), and if you are logged in can click edit to make changes there. Of course we need you, Nicole! I agree with Chris that the new format he chose is easier for contributors. We still need to figure how to manage screenshots internationalization. Hi All The link from https://koha-community.org/documentation/ should be working now. This is generated using the old docbook xml. Future manuals will be created from the new restructured text using Sphinx. Chris Chris On 28 November 2016 11:28:42 PM NZDT, Hugo Agud <hagud@orex.es> wrote:
