Hi All, I'm currently in the process of cataloging our collection into Koha. Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to get the book images (pulled from Amazon, etc?) into the Catalog along with the record? Thank you -- Caitlin McGurk *Librarian The Schulz Library The Center for Cartoon Studies <http://www.cartoonstudies.org> McGurk@cartoonstudies.org*
The manual has a section on this: http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual/?ch=c18#AEN1230 Basically it's all in the system preferences. Nicole 2010/12/14 Caitlin McGurk <mcgurk@cartoonstudies.org>:

Also note that the images aren't pulled into Koha when you add the book--they're not pulled into Koha at all. They're displayed dynamically when you view the record. The images reside on the server of whichever service you're using, Amazon, Google, etc. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
Hi All, Just with Owen's mention of Google as an image source in his email below, does anyone know if it is possible to use Google Book images in Koha instead of using Amazon. If this is possible does anyone know how to set it up for Google Book covers? Kindest Regards,Joel Joel HarbottleEmail: Joel.Harbottle@hotmail.com.au

Hi Nicole & Owen, Many thanks! I have seen this option in our library's 'testing/development' environment where we are running Koha 3.2. Still at present, our library's production/live system is Koha 2.2.9 on a Windows Server, till we move across to a Linux server running Koha 3.2. Does anyone know if it is possible to use Google Book images in Koha 2.2.9, and if it is possible, how to set it up? Kindest Regards,Joel Joel HarbottleEmail: Joel.Harbottle@hotmail.com.au

Greetings- We beginning to use the circulation module. Our Books By Mail library sends books to patrons throughout the state and needs to include a circulation slip in the shipping bag. We know how to print the slips, but we need to increase the size of the font and enable, if possible, for the data to print in two or three columns across an 8.5" X 11" sheet. The patrons of BBM frequently order 10-20 books. Anyone know how to do this? We are customers of a support vendor, but asking the community is hard too resist since you all are such a fantastic group. Thanks. Gary +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Gary L. Harris, M.L.S. The font size can be increased by adjusting the font-size settings in print.css on the server. Having the receipt use two columns would be a matter of adjusting the members/moremember-receipt.tmpl template to use a table and divvying up the loans across the two columns by using <!-- TMPL_IF name="__odd__" --> in the issueloop.
