I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use barcodes that were already on books from previous automation systems? More than half of the books in the collection I'm working with have old barcodes, it would be a time and money saver to use the ones already on the books. Thanks for your input. Yes - we have done this. You may need to make some minor adjustments to the koha perl code - I think the amount of code modification depends on the format of your current barcodes and how you intend to generate barcodes for new acquisitions? [--snip--] R.
