Problem with OPAC search after upgrade to Koha (staff client results normal)
Hi We recently upgraded to Koha 3.01.00.061. Since upgrading, our OPAC searches have returned no results with the message: "No Result found!" The staff client catalogue search returns normal results.

Marc, Results in the staff client, but not in the OPAC? My first reaction is to check your OPACSuppression system preference. If it's on, but you don't have any MARC records with a defined 942n, it'll break the OPAC. Hope this helps, -Ian On Wed, Aug 18, 2010 at 4:25 PM, Marc Wilson <temp9999_61@hotmail.com>wrote:

Hi Ian Thanks. I should have mentioned that this solution had turned up in my initial search, but was not the cause of my issues. Regards Marc
Hello, Was your upgrade from 2.2.9? I once had the same problem upgrading from 2.2.9. Turning on display of lost item system preferences allowed the items to show up in OPAC search. Olugbenga Adara Mobile: 234-803-3220288 --- On Wed, 8/18/10, Marc Wilson <temp9999_61@hotmail.com> wrote:

Hi Olugbenga Thanks. This was not the cause - my lost items are displayed. Regards Marc

I'd probably check whether yaz-client can find search results (auth zebrauser password \n open /var/lib/path/to/biblios \n base biblios \n f searchterm ) and if it can, run some C4::Search function call through the perl debugger (perl -d). Sorry I've not time to be more help here now. -- MJ Ray (slef) Webmaster and developer for hire at | software www.software.coop http://mjr.towers.org.uk | .... co IMO only: see http://mjr.towers.org.uk/email.html | .... op
