As far as I can tell, Koha (3.0) does not do phrase searching, either in staff or public mode. This seems like a strange oversight. Can someone confirm, let me know if I've overlooked a setting, provide further information? Thank you, Cab Vinton, Director Sanbornton Public Library Sanbornton, NH
I don't know if this has anything to help you: http://new.koha.org/documentation/manual/3.2/searching/guide-to-searching I'm out training now and can't go into more detail. --- Nicole C. Thanks, Nicole. This helped in that it reminded me that phrase searching is available under Advanced Search for titles, subjects, & authors (names). However, under Basic Search, the standard "[search string]" syntax using quotation marks does not work and so there is no generic keyword phrase searching -- which could come in handy for searching indexed 5XX fields, for example.
