Re: [Koha] e signature & Koha
Hi Erlanda, I'm curious how you've been trying to "insert" e-signatures produced by the WACOM device. Out of the box, I don't think there's a way to arbitrarily attach files/PDFs to user accounts. A couple years ago someone raised an enhancement request https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33985 but it hasn't progressed. There's privacy/security issues that come from capturing and storing signatures. But you could potentially pay someone to develop a Koha plugin to do this job. All our attempts to "insert" e-signature produced by WACOM directly into Koha failed! Can anybody advice us is it possible to connect such devices directly with Koha? Thanks, Erlanda
Hi Erlanda, David, According to the documentation, there is a way to attach files to patrons : https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/patrons.html#files Seems to be working since 23.11 :) However there is no proper integration of e-signatures devices in Koha, nor an automated way to fill a pdf or form from the browser and have it attached to the patron. That is quite a specific development, I think like David this should be done as a plugin if needed. Best, Arthur On 2025-05-05 02:33, David Cook wrote:

Thanks for pointing that out, Arthur. After I sent my email, I thought perhaps I was wrong. Difficult to stay on top of 883 different system preferences... haha.
