Merging Libraries from different servers using koha branch library feature
Hi All, We have two instances of Koha (both are different libraries) on two servers. We want to create a branch and a main library on a server, then import the records from the two separate servers (each library), one will be the main library and the other will be branch library. Please tell me how we can do this. Regards, Sheldon Assistant Systems Librarian -- View this message in context: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Merging-Libraries-from-different-servers-u... Hi, It should be a bit straight forward, and all you need to do is export the MARC records from the second instance to your first instance. In the first instance you will need to first create a branch for the second instance and ensure that the branch code conforms to the code for second instance, the biblios will then map into that code and sit comfortably in the first instance. I have not merged patrons but i believe the procedure should be equally as straight forward. B.
