Good morning. Earlier today I released Koha 3.6.10, my final release as Release Maintainer for the Koha 3.6.x branch. So far no one has accepted the position of RMaint for 3.6.x during the 3.12 release cycle, despite my various pleas, entreaties, and threats. It is my hope that a new release maintainer will step forward for 3.6.x, since I believe that this branch has not yet exhausted its usefulness, but until this happens the 3.6.x branch should be considered orphaned, and libraries should begin to consider upgrading to 3.8.x or the forthcoming 3.10. One further note about 3.6.10: this upgrade included fixes for several cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Koha that have been present at least since 3.4. ALL USERS OF KOHA SHOULD UPGRADE TO THE LATEST RELEASE ON THE BRANCH THEY ARE FOLLOWING TO RECEIVE PROTECTION FROM THESE THREATS. Hi all, Congratulations Jared on a job well done. However I plan to ask Liz to take over rmaint of 3.6.x as part of the work at Catalyst. At least for a few months. So if Liz and the community are happy with that 3.6.x might have a bit of life left in it yet. Chris Jared Camins-Esakov <jcamins@cpbibliography.com> wrote:

Greets, I am fast approaching the deadline for planning my participation at Kohacon13. There has been no change on the web site for months, and no dates listed. I did attend a planning meeting, but did not get an email address for anyone. I have tried to volunteer to help, but am unable to log on to the wiki to add my name. Still willing if someone can assist. Sorry to trouble this list with the noise, but I know of nowhere else to ask. Bruce A. Metcalf Augustan Society Library Orlando, Florida, USA
Hi, your wiki account has been manually activated on December 6th: http://wiki.koha-community.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&days=30&limit=250&namespace=2 We switched to manual activation, because of spam problems after the last IRC meeting. I think you should be able to log in now. Have you tried since your initial registration?
