Help! Number of titles that may be checked out by users with Koha
We're a small school library that has happily been using Koha for about a year. It's our first automated system. We just started using it with our elementary library (added as a branch), and every time we try to check books out to elementary students it gives the red flag that says "Too many issues (already issued / max : a 0/0)". I made sure the student has permission to borrow books and have set up our issuing rules so that elementary students may have three books for 7 days. What's wrong? Does anyone have any ideas for how to fix this? Thanks, Amber _________________________________________________________________

I think this was a bug in versions 2.2.5 and below. If you don't have issuing rules filled in for every single borrower type under every single branch, you'll get that error. I think it's been fixed in versions above 2.2.5. Cindy Amber Amland wrote:

Thanks! I made sure each box was filled in, and that solved our problem.

Hi Amber, That has been the case with our installation of Koha 2.2.7. I just override it each time. It's a nuisance, but I don't have heavy traffic and use the OPAC for connection to our school information network. Paul Scaer Science Leadership Academy Philadelphia, PA Amber Amland wrote:
