I tried to convert my excel data to marc for exporting to KOHA. But could not succed can any one explain how to give information for the tag 260 it has three sub field a b c (Place of publication, distribution, etc , Name of publisher, distributor, etc, Date of publication, distribution, etc) i have tried as $260a, $260b, $260c but its appearing on three lines. A single MARC record field generally looks sort of like (I'm not being exact): =260 \\$aValueA$bValueB$cValueC Of course, that's in the human readable version of the MARC file. I would strongly recommend using MARCEdit: http://people.oregonstate.edu/~reeset/marcedit/html/downloads.html Once your records are good, then importing into Koha should good relatively smoothly.
