How does one go about selecting which MARC Framework to use if there are multiple. I have one framework called test and another that has no identifier but the description is 'Default framework'. I have setup the Test framework as the one to use yet whenever I do a MARC Check it ignores the Test framework and looks at the Default. I've looked all over the gui, database tables and scripts and haven't found anything that allow me to select the framework to use. I am running Koha V 2.2.7 in a linux environment. Thanks, Tony manzo@salk.edu
Hi Tony The MARC Check and MARC-Koha Links only work on the default framework. It is up to the user to ensure that MARC-Koha mappings are the same (or at least non-conflicting) for each framework used. The MARC Check and Links scripts acting on other frameworks would be a nice feature addition, but for the moment it's up to you to make sure they make sense. hth, Ryan Higgins ----LibLime---------------------------------- Providing Open-Source Solutions for Libraries Migration, Training, Maintenance and Support Featuring Koha ILS : http://liblime.com/koha --------------------------------------------- ----- "Anthony Manzo" <manzo@salk.edu> wrote: | How does one go about selecting which MARC Framework to use if there | are | multiple.
