[Koha] Crontab appearing to not run

By the look of that error email including __PLACEHOLDERS__, I think
the /home/koha/kohaclone/etc/koha-conf.xml is not a valid config file.
Did the "perl Makefile.PL" and "make install" installation steps
complete without errors or warnings?

It's not impossible to replace the placeholders manually.  It's just
painful.
