This way you can isolate just that framework and all its components, take it and load it to other systems etc.
I would be (pleasantly) surprised however if just changing the framework enabled full conformance with DanMarc. Keep us all informed of your success or "challenges".

What I have done up to now is to set up Koha on an extra computer, so
there is only the default framework. I have checked that I am able to
make the dump - that works. Right now I am editing the framework to
make it follow the specification for danMARC2 in all details.<br>

The good thing about it is that danMARC is "compatible" with uniMARC.
That should mean that all the important fields are placed at the same
positions. This seems to be the case and if this is really the case,
the Koha to MARC mapping should also be the same. But off course i will
have to check that.<br>
