Subject: Printing Patron Cards with Names

Hello,

I try to print patron Cards with koha3.00.06 Label creator Tool.

I searched how to print the cards with the name of the patron on it.
But I did not find the function to do it.

I searched the internet and wiki. But couldn’t find any hint to do
this. Is there a possibility to do that or where can I configure it?

I am new to Koha. Perhaps I did not see the function?

As Scott Daniels mentioned, the Patron Card Creator tool in 3.0.x is unfinished and will most likely stay that way. That tool, along with the Label Creator tool, was totally re-written for 3.2 and the changes will not backport easily.

The "hack" Scott suggests will get you somewhat closer to what you are looking for. However, i would suggest either waiting for 3.2 stable, or setup a sandbox with 3.2, move over a copy of your current Koha db, and use the Patron Card Creator there.

While kbarcode no doubt works fine for grabbing text data from Koha's db and creating cards, the Patron Card Creator currently allows for up to two graphic images to be placed on the card, including the patron's photo, etc.

Kind Regards,
Chris
