Hi,<br>
<br>
Thankyou all for your help and answers. I can use these as future
references.<br>
The problem was clicking on the import button <b>more than once. </b>
My work colleague<br>
didn't think anything was happening as it was taking a while to import
the records because<br>
it was quite a large batch so she <b>clicked on the import button more
than once </b>which created<br>
duplicates half way through the import process. It was confusing
because whilst I was editing<br>
and checking these records there was only one bib record for each
duplicate and the correct <br>
number of records had been imported. When it came time to revert the
records,<b> I clicked on<br>
the revert button more than once.</b> When our IT cleaned up and
reindexed the system and we<br>
started the process again it worked properly as we only clicked on the
import and revert button<br>
ONCE! Problem Solved <span class="moz-smiley-s1"><span> :-) </span></span><br>
<br>
Regards<br>

Hi,
We thought we had successfully imported 2669 records into koha and had
no problems bringing the
records up when searching for them by title. Everything looked good,
however while I was editing them I discovered half way
through duplicates of each bib record. There is only one bib record but
when I do a search on the title it brings up a duplicate
record for each title. When we tried to un import to revert these
staged records only the first 6 records reverted and the others
remain imported. Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can
fix this problem? Also how do we prevent duplicate
copies in the future?
Thankyou
Regards,
*Frances Sandeman*

Hello all.
I am using KOHA 3.0.3 in Debian Lenny Stable. There are few things that are
troubling me. Following are some of the issues:
1. We are converting WIN-ISIS data to KOHA, which results in creation of
records in KOHA but not Items. We have to manually add items for each
records. Is it possible to create at least one item with auto barcode or
barcode as acquisition number in KOHA.
2. If 1 is not possible then is there any way to copy the "Acquisition
number" field of a record to the "Barcode" field of item of the record after
importing is done or while importing data.
3. While printing labels for books and patron cards, it makes a PDF of the
label. We have label printing machine, how are we supposed to print the
label through the machine instead of PDF. This machine doesnot use A4 size
paper, rather it uses roll paper as telephone billing machines do. I'm
confused as how to make this machine print the labels.
Please Help.
Regards.
