We are getting the following when we import some MARC records. I have
checked the Marc frameworks and none appear to have the 040 subfield c
set as mandatory.<br>
Can anyone explain why we often get this message?<br>

"Can't save this record because the following field aren't filled :<br>
* tag 040 subfield c Transcribing agency in tab 0"<br>
<br>
This may not sound bad, but in some cases with records imported from a
vendor we get the message and then when we click on OK to edit the 040
field the system throws us right back to the main staff client page.<br>
<br>
Any ideas, please?<br>
