I am working with Koha in Portugal and very soon I will send staff translation which is being finished.<br>
I would like to ask and sugest an improvement for Koha which could allow to work with multiple databases. Instead to have just one MySQL database how can we select an alternative database with the same framework?<br>
If we can do it I will develop a MARC framework do Archives and then we could cope both with libraries and archives. The only thing is to change framework and switch between databases.<br>

Sorry this is only a quick reply. I think you need to look in Admin<br>
Home: System Preferences: BiblioAddsAuthorities if you don't want<br>
author/journal title/etc to have to exist in the Authorities already.<br>
Or change your MARC setup to not use the authorities.<br>

I think it's better to use a repository and then add a link in the 847<br>
field of a MARC record, but I still want to look at some stuff there.<br>
